Kismet is an old word for fate. It suits a firm built on a simple belief: the great clubs of the world deserve owners who plan in decades. We are led by the partnership that brought the NBA to Vancouver and built the arena the city still fills every night.
Anyone can promise stewardship. Very few have practiced it. Our partnership has owned an NHL franchise, founded an NBA franchise and privately financed one of the great arenas of North America. Thirty years later, the building is still full.
Kismet is a private sports and entertainment house based in Vancouver and New York. We acquire and hold ownership positions in teams, venues, rights and the businesses around them, across the major leagues of North America, the great football competitions of Europe and cricket through the Indian Premier League.

He built General Motors Place, the arena known today as Rogers Arena, and later chaired the bid society that set the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in motion. Sukh has spent over twenty years delivering multi-billion-dollar mandates across the UK, Qatar and Canada, from the London 2012 Olympic programme to the New Doha International Airport. A former boxer, he leads strategy and investor relations at Kismet, where he connects how clubs and teams operate with what it takes to build and run the venues behind them.
Stephen built his career at the intersection of sport, media, entertainment and real estate, most recently as a Director at RSE Ventures. A four-year Division I soccer player at Cornell, he co-leads Kismet's investment strategy, structuring and capital formation across all verticals.
Mandate reviews, joint investment conversations and ownership introductions are handled privately and directly by the partners.
